ABOUT US
Women United Against AIDS in Ghana is a non-governmental organization formed by women infected and affected by HIV / AIDS. Currently WUAAG has a membership of 74.

Target Population
WUAAG’s activities and programmes seeks to target the following:
  • Women and children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS
  • Children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS
  • Children orphaned by HIV/AIDS
  • Caregivers of children and women living with HIV/AIDS
  • The general public
Our Aim
WUAAG aims at bringing together women infected and/or affected by HIV/AIDS and their children and to provide socio-economic,nutritional and psychosocial support to enable them live a positive life of dignity, and to support each other.
Main Areas of Focus
Our main areas of focus are:
  • Income generating (batik, tie and dye, bead making)
  • Provision of Nutritional Support
  • Counseling
  • Eductional Support for OVC's
  • Social Education Programmes (Testimony Giving)
  • Promotion of positive living among women living with HIV / AIDS.
